Drive from Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

You will be pick from the airport or from your hotel by your safari driver guide for your safari to Samburu National Reserve. This is a five hours drive through Kenya's highlands and on a clear day, you will likely see Mount Kenya which is Kenya's highest mountain. You will also pass by the equator and head north to Samburu National Reserve. You will arrive in time for check in at lunch at the lodge. After a short rest, you will have an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Full day in Samburu National Reserve

You will have a full day in Samburu National Reserve to experience the "Samburu Special Five" - the Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Grevy's zebra, the large elephant population and learn about their special connection with the Samburu People. Learn about the 'singing wells' and other unique stories such as Kamunyak, a lioness famous for adopting Oryx calves and also about the famous lioness Elsa of Born Free. You will have the option of having a picnic lunch in the wild or returning to the lodge for hot lunch. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.

Drive from Samburu National Reserve to Aberdares National Park

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and drive to Aberdares National Park. You will have lunch at the base hotel which is located on the edge of the park before being transferred to the Ark Hotel where you will spend you afternoon watching the animals visit the water hole at the hotel. Dinner and Overnight at The Ark Hotel.

Drive from Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will have an early start of the day with the early breakfast and after check out, you will drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive is via Kenya's countryside with local towns and wheat farms along the way. You are also likely to see pastoralists grazing their livestock on the roadside. You will arrive at the lodge in time for check in and lunch. After a short rest, you will have an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner ad overnight at the Camp.
