Serengeti National Park

After a great breakfast from your camp, you will depart and drive to Serengeti with a game drive en-route. In the afternoon, your guide will set a beautiful table with a delicious hot lunch meal with soft drinks, tea, coffee or a glass of wine. Afterwards, proceed with a game drive and in the evening, check in to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park is also a World Heritage Site and recently proclaimed a 7th Worldwide Wonder. The Serengeti is famed for its annual migration when some six million hooves pound the open plains as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa. There are great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle.

Serengeti National Park is well known for its healthy stock of other resident wildlife, particularly the Big Five named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters. Lion: the Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due in part to the abundance of prey species. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem. African Leopard: these reclusive predators are commonly seen in the Seronera region but are present throughout the national park with their population at around 1,000.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. Have breakfast at the lodge then a full day relaxing on the beach. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the hotel. There are so many sea sports activities that can be organized from the reception of your lodge.
Right on the northern most point of the island, the beach that surrounds this area is truly stunning. Azure waters and white sands are what await those that come here. The only drawback is that many of the hotels have had to perch on the coral cliffs that run north from the village and, as such lose their beaches during high tide. However, this is not a problem and with the small backpacker community in the village, this is a great place to head if you like to get out of the hotel for a drink or two.
