Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara National Reserve

This day will be dedicated to wildlife observation in Kenya’s premier wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. Your full-day game drives will lead you to search for Africa’s Big Five and other animals that call this expansive Kenyan game reserve home. As you explore the vast Masai Mara, you’ll encounter various animals such as Masai giraffes, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyenas, topis, impalas, hartebeests, wildebeest, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos. It’s also quite common to spot lions either lounging in the sun after a substantial meal or scanning the plains for their next meal. While cheetahs and leopards are more elusive, they are still relatively common.
