The turtle island

Considered one of the ten most beautiful islands in the world, Nosy Iranja is one hour and a half from Nosy Be by speed boat. The island is made up of two small islands (Small Iranja and Great Iranja) connected by aa white sandbank that is visible at low tide. With its turquoise waters, the island has a genuine paradise feel to it. It is home to sea turtles, who come there to lay egg, hence its nickname as the turtle island.
Nosy Iranja has also a large share of seabirds: sterns, marine eagles…
You can also visit the Great Iranja Island’s lighthouse and the Iranja village after your pic-nic lunch on the beach, under the shades of coconut trees.

Sakatia

After Breakfast going to Nosy Sakatia.
Barely touched by modernism, Nosy Sakatia is the most authentic island of Nosy Be and has since become a protected site.
With your local guide, you’ll get to discover the inside of Nosy Sakatia during an a hour-and-a-half long trek. The many riches of Sakatia include a superb diversity of tree species : « flamboyants », coffee, pepper pots, vanilla, mangoes, guava, raphia…
You’ll also be able to share the culture and traditional activities of the local villagers throughout our visits.
Depending on the tide, you can swim with the turtles in the morning or afternoon (you'll need the exact date of the excursion to check the tides).

Lokobe visit

Lokobe is the last primary forest of Nosy Be, with numerous medicinal and endemic plants, as well as its millenial trees. For those reasons, Lokobe attracts many scientists every year.
Beyond that, it also has a rich fauna : nocturnal and diurnal lemurs (Macaco and Lepilemurs), snakes, chameleons, insects and tropical birds. You’ll be transferred by carto the village of Ambatozavavy ; from there you’ll embark on a traditional boat or motor boat along the mangroves to access the reserve.
Departure from ambatozavavy village at 2.30 pm / 3 pm to return to the hotel. Arrival at the hotel around 3.30 pm / 4 pm.

Nosy komba and Tanikely

You will embark on a mini-cruise aboard a catamaran to enjoy the two islands near Nosy be.
Nosy Komba, your first stop, is the second biggest island of the area behind Nosy Be. It’s a traditional fishermen’s village with a handicraft market, where one can shop for sculptures and traditional table clothes. Nosy Komba is also famous for its small Lemurs’ park.
Afterwards, you’ll get to Nosy Tanikely (literally, « little land island »), a marine reserve that shelters all kinds of multi-colored fish, corals, anemones, and even sea turtles. Snorkelling (equipment provided) in Nosy Tanikely is a truly unique experience, as one feels as if inside a real life size aquarium. The seafood pic-nic lunch will take place on the catamaran after the snorkelling session.

Island Nosy Be Tour, east to west

This tour allows you to discover the inside of Nosy Be, among other highlights, you’ll visit Lemuria Land. In the center of Nosy Be Hellville boasts nice colonial buildings and a nice local market. The sacred a little outside Hellville, you’ll be able to enjoy the sight of the sacred banyan tree among the many perfumes of coffee, pepper, vanilla and Ylang Ylang along the way. Sacred tree, craft market and Andilana beach are included in the tour.
You’ll end the tour with a visit of Mont Passot, the highest site in Nosy Be, from which you’ll be able to enjoy the sunset before going back to the hotel.
