After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch provided. Visit the fascinating Roaring Rocks, named for the wind that rushes through them, offering breathtaking views of Tsavo from a 98-meter rock face. Similar vistas can be enjoyed from Poacher’s Lookout. Explore the volcanic Chaimu Crater, less than 200 years old and made of black coke, which can be climbed for an adventurous experience. Keep an eye out for the agile klipspringer, also known as *mbuzi mawe* (mountain goat). In the southwest corner of Tsavo West lies Lake Jipe, straddling the Kenyan-Tanzanian border.
