Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Early in the morning, you will be picked up from the lodge and begin your scenic journey to Tarangire National Park, with lunch boxes provided for the day.

Tarangire is renowned for its impressive elephant herds and diverse landscapes, ranging from seasonal swamps to expansive savanna. The Tarangire River meanders through the park, creating a stunning backdrop. During your game drive, you may witness lions stalking their prey or leopards lounging in the trees above. Lake Manyara National Park is renowned for its unique arboreal lions, which can often be spotted lounging in the trees, as well as its large populations of baboons that roam freely throughout the park. These baboons may even accompany you along the road as you enter the park.

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park for an exciting wildlife safari. Serengeti is famous for its massive migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. Be prepared to encounter resident predators, such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, actively engaging in the circle of life.

Visit to Lake Eyasi for a cultural experience

After enjoying your breakfast, our safari guide will take you to Lake Eyasi, where you will have the opportunity to meet the Hadzabe tribe, renowned for their exceptional hunting skills. You’ll even have the chance to join them on a hunt and witness their techniques firsthand.

Following your visit to the Hadzabe, you’ll continue to the Datoga tribe, known for their impressive blacksmithing craftsmanship.

You’ll also have some time to stretch your legs with a walk around Lake Eyasi and visit a nearby local village, immersing yourself in the vibrant surroundings.

After these exciting cultural experiences, you will be transferred back to your lodge to relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.

After breakfast, you can relax at the lodge, and if time permits, enjoy a brief shopping tour of Karatu town. Following this, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (formerly Zanzibar International Airport), our driver will be waiting to provide you with a private transfer to your hotel in Stone Town.
