Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, embark on your journey to the Serengeti, the world's most famous national park. Although the drive is long, the scenery along the way is stunning, offering breathtaking landscapes that will leave a lasting impression, especially for first-time visitors.
As you delve deeper into the Serengeti, the meaning of its name—endless plains in the local language—becomes abundantly clear. Covering an area of 18,000km² (6,900mi²), the seemingly infinite plains stretch to the horizon, challenging your sense of scale and distance.
The Serengeti is renowned for the great migration, which includes over 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and various antelope species. It is also a premier location for spotting big cats and other large predators, such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Many iconic wildlife scenes, including dramatic river crossings, have been filmed in this extraordinary park.

Ngorongoro Crater
We recommend starting your day early to enjoy a sunrise game drive, taking advantage of when wildlife is most active. Experience one of the most breathtaking sunrises you will ever see as the Serengeti comes to life. After the game drive, return to camp for a well-deserved brunch before continuing your journey to Ngorongoro, often referred to as the 8th Wonder of the Natural World.
The Ngorongoro Crater spans 264km² (102mi²) with towering walls rising 600m (2,000ft), creating a natural haven for an incredible diversity of wildlife. Often compared to a modern-day Noah's Ark, the crater is home to nearly every species native to East Africa, including the rare and elusive black rhino.
