Lake Manyara National Park

Your day begins by pickup from your hotel, setting off on a picturesque journey across the Great Rift Valley for a full-day game drive. While relatively small at 205 square miles, Lake Manyara National Park is renowned for its breathtaking scenery, featuring lush acacia forests, towering fig trees, and majestic mahogany trees. The park is also home to a thriving population of baboons and blue monkeys.

In addition to its primates, the park hosts an array of wildlife, including giraffes, elephants, impalas, and large herds of buffaloes. The serene lake itself is a haven for hippos, offering an opportunity to witness these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, set out for the Serengeti, the most renowned national park in the world. Though the journey is long, the drive itself is nothing short of spectacular, offering breathtaking landscapes that will leave a lasting impression—especially for first-time visitors.

As you venture deeper into the Serengeti, the reason behind its name, meaning "endless plains" in the local language, becomes strikingly clear. Spanning 6,900 square miles (18,000 square kilometers), the seemingly infinite plains stretch to the horizon, challenging your sense of scale and distance.

The Serengeti is home to the iconic Great Migration, featuring over 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and a variety of antelopes. It is also a prime destination for spotting big cats and other large predators, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Many famous wildlife scenes, such as the dramatic river crossings, have been filmed in this extraordinary park.

Ngorongoro Crater

We recommend an early start to your day to enjoy a sunrise game drive, taking advantage of the time when wildlife is most active. Witness one of the most breathtaking sunrises you’ll ever experience as the Serengeti awakens. After the game drive, return to camp for a well-deserved brunch before continuing your journey to Ngorongoro, often called the "8th Wonder of the Natural World."

The Ngorongoro Crater spans 102 square miles with towering walls reaching 2,000 feet, creating a natural haven for an incredible diversity of wildlife. Often likened to a modern-day Noah's Ark, the crater is home to nearly every species native to East Africa, including the rare and elusive Black Rhino.

Within the crater, you’ll find a variety of ecosystems, including a river, swamps, a soda lake teeming with flamingos, forests, and open plains.
