Pick up at your place or hotel at 5:00 am. Depart from Kigali by 5:30 am. Breakfast enroute.
Travel to Akagera National Park, it's approximately a 3 hours’ drive from Kigali to Akagera National Park.
Arrive at the park entrance, check-in, enjoy a short game drive to your hotel. Continue enjoying a 6-hour game drive to explore the wildlife and landscapes of the park known for its diverse wildlife, including Lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species.
Have lunch at a picnic area, then at 3 pm, embark on a 1-hour boat ride on the scenic waters of Lake Ihema.
Enjoy views of the surrounding landscapes and wildlife. Look out for birds, including pelicans and kingfishers.
Possible sightings of hippos and other wildlife along the shores.
In the evening, head to the lodge for dinner and rest.
