Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your Cari Local Safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation. You’ll then embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, a journey of approximately two and a half hours on well-maintained tarmac roads. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which flows through it and serves as the only water source for wildlife in the region during the dry season. Known for its large herds of elephants, you’ll often see them gathering near the river. The park is also home to giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests, all of which are preyed upon by a variety of predators, including lions and leopards. Tarangire boasts more breeding bird species than any other place on Earth! As you explore, you’ll encounter the majestic, ancient Baobab trees, some of which are believed to be over a thousand years old.
Lunch will be served at a picnic site within the park. After your game drive, you’ll head to your accommodation located near the park.

Lake Manyara Nation Park
After breakfast, you'll drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small yet incredibly diverse destination. Everything here is on a grand scale, despite the park’s compact size—one of the narrowest in Africa. The towering Great Rift Escarpment forms the dramatic western boundary of the park, adding to its epic beauty. The park’s namesake, Lake Manyara, is a shallow, saltwater lake that expands and recedes with the seasons, providing a vital habitat for thousands of wading birds, including flamingos, as well as over 500 other bird species. In the lush evergreen forest, you may encounter baboons and elephants, and if you’re lucky, you might spot the famous tree-climbing lions that have made the park renowned across Africa.
After a rewarding day of exploration, you'll make a short drive to your accommodation in Karatu.

Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you'll journey into the cooler highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to stop and take in the breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater. Continuing through the conservation area, you'll head toward the Serengeti, entering the park from its southern gate.
The Serengeti is nothing short of magnificent, renowned for its expansive grasslands that provide ideal opportunities for wildlife viewing. While the park is teeming with wildlife year-round, it’s most famous for the Great Migration. Every year, massive herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelope travel in search of fresh grazing, following a predictable path. No matter when you visit, you can witness this incredible spectacle—it’s simply a matter of knowing where to be!

After an early breakfast, we’ll depart for Southern Serengeti. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to spot giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. This iconic national park is not only home to the Great Migration but also a UNESCO World Heritage site teeming with diverse wildlife. In the afternoon, we’ll head to the Ndutu Area, a beautiful and wildlife-rich region.
It’s the only nature reserve in Tanzania where off-road driving is allowed, bringing you close to the animals.
