You'll be picked from your hotel in Kigali at 6 AM. Start a city tour by visiting the Genocide Memorial site and Kimironko market.

11AM proceed for a scenic drive to Nyanza, A journey of approximately 5 to 6 hours. As you travel, Enjoy views of Rwanda’s picturesque countryside, Passing through rolling hills and rural villages. Upon arrival in Nyanza, Visit the Royal Palace Museum, where you’ll learn about Rwanda’s rich history, Royal traditions, and the culture of the monarchy. The museum is housed in the traditional palace, Offering insights into the country’s past and heritage.

After the visit, Check into your hotel to relax and unwind, preparing for more adventures ahead.

Day 2

Chimpanzee trekking & Canopy walk

At around 7:00 AM, you’ll head to the park headquarters for your chimpanzee trekking experience. The trek typically lasts between 2 to 3 hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzee group, you’ll have up to one hour to observe their fascinating behaviors, including their interactions and playful antics in their natural habitat.

You’ll have a break for lunch, either at the lodge or a nearby picnic area, taking in the surrounding forest beauty.

Around 2:00 PM, embark on the canopy walk, which lasts about 1 hour. The walk involves traversing a series of suspended bridges high above the forest floor, offering spectacular views of the rainforest canopy and nearby hills. You’ll also have the chance to spot various bird species and enjoy the panoramic scenery.

After the canopy walk, start your drive back to Kigali, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or Kigali International Airport.
