Northern Serengeti National Park
You’ll dedicate the entire day to exploring the Serengeti on thrilling game drives. The park is a haven for diverse wildlife, including impalas, buffalos, crocodiles, and hippos. However, it is most renowned for the massive migration of zebras, antelopes, and wildebeest. This awe-inspiring movement, influenced by rainfall patterns, changes annually.
Between November and December, the herds journey from the northern woodlands and hills to the lush southern plains. During the long rains from April to June, they make their way back to the north. Alongside the migrating herds, you might also encounter the Serengeti’s resident predators, such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Central Serengeti National Park
Following a satisfying breakfast, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive through the Central Serengeti.
This exploration will take you across the park’s varied landscapes, including its famous short grass plains. Here, you’ll have the chance to marvel at the incredible sight of vast herds of wildebeest and zebras. In January, a remarkable natural phenomenon occurs: over the course of just three weeks, most wildebeest give birth, resulting in nearly half a million calves being born in a stunningly synchronized birthing event.
The open plains provide little cover, but the newborn wildebeest are remarkable runners—able to stand and move within minutes of birth, and capable of keeping pace with the herd in just three days.

Ngorongoro Crater
Early risers can enjoy breathtaking views of the sunrise over the Ngorongoro Crater rim before embarking on an adventure to this remarkable destination after a hearty breakfast. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s Seven Wonders, the crater was formed about three million years ago. Covering 260 square kilometers and plunging 610 meters deep, it is home to a dense wildlife population of around 25,000 ungulates, offering some of the best wildlife viewing opportunities in Tanzania. Visitors can encounter wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and over 500 bird species. With some luck, you might even spot the critically endangered black rhinos grazing on the grasslands. Following an unforgettable game drive and a picnic lunch, you’ll ascend from the crater and begin the journey back to Arusha in the afternoon. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your accommodation or the airport, bringing your incredible safari experience to a memorable close.
