Zanzibar to Northern Serengeti National Park (Kogatende)

At 05:45 AM, you will be picked up and driven to Zanzibar Airport for a flight at 08:00am to Northern Serengeti. Upon arrival at 10:30AM, you'll proceed with a game drive in the wilderness, tracking the Great Migration trails. Enjoy picnic lunch along the Mara river watching hippos and crocodiles. Later afternoon you drive to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park. A UNESCO World Heritage site and recently proclaimed the 7th Wonder of the World, Serengeti is famed for its annual migration where some six million hooves pound the open plains. Serengeti offers an exotic game-viewing experience in the whole of Africa, giving you an up-close look at the animals you've only seen in National Geographic: great herds of buffaloes, smaller groups of elephants and giraffes, and thousands of elands, topis, kongonis, impalas, and Grant’s gazelles.

Game Drive Northern Serengeti National Park (Mara River Focus on Migration)

07:30am, After breakfast at the camp, you'll depart with your picnic lunch for a game drive to view the great migration.
Enjoy picnic lunch under an acacia tree with the great view of the river! At around 16:30 head back to the lodge for sunset drinks.
Serengeti National Park
Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in the Wagakuria area, with a pride of lions up to 30 strong. From August to October, the area turns into a wildlife paradise. The key feature is the Mara River, and it is not uncommon to see the herds cross the Mara River north on one day and then back south a few days later. Please note that finding an actual crossing is difficult and is sometimes a matter of luck.
