After a hearty breakfast, we’ll depart from Arusha and journey towards Tarangire National Park. The drive offers scenic views of the countryside as we head into the heart of this wildlife haven.
Upon arrival, we’ll embark on an exciting game drive through Tarangire, a park famous for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife. The landscape is unique, with towering baobab trees and the life-giving Tarangire River, which attracts animals throughout the dry season.
As we explore, we’ll have the opportunity to spot a variety of animals including zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and, with a bit of luck, predators like lions or leopards. After breakfast, we’ll set off towards Serengeti National Park, traveling through the breathtaking landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, we’ll pause at the park gate to take in the stunning panoramic views of the Ngorongoro Crater. There’s also an opportunity to visit a traditional Maasai village, where you can gain insight into the fascinating culture and daily life of the Maasai people.
As we arrive in the Serengeti in the late afternoon, we’ll begin our game drive in Seronera, the vibrant heart of the park. We’ll continue exploring into the evening, capturing the magic of the Serengeti’s wildlife under the glow of a spectacular sunset. With a bit of luck, we might even witness a thrilling predator encounter! After a memorable day, we’ll head to Safari Haven Lodge for a restful night.
