Arrival and Rhino Tracking

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your guide will be waiting to welcome you to Uganda. After checking into your accommodation, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch before heading out on the exciting rhino tracking experience. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, you will get the chance to track the rhinos on foot through the sanctuary’s natural habitat. The peaceful surroundings and the opportunity to see these majestic animals up close make this a truly unforgettable experience. The rhino sanctuary is home to both the White Rhino and the Black Rhino, and the tracking will allow you to witness their behaviors in a natural environment. Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After a hearty breakfast at your lodge, you will begin your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and one of its most renowned wildlife parks. The drive, which typically takes about 5 to 6 hours, takes you through picturesque countryside, passing local villages and rural landscapes that offer a glimpse of daily life in Uganda. Upon arrival, you will check in at your accommodation within the park, where you can relax and unwind before lunch. The park is known for its diverse wildlife, including the Big Four animals—lions, elephants, buffaloes, and giraffes—as well as a rich variety of bird species. After lunch, you can spend the afternoon at leisure, either by enjoying the natural surroundings or taking a dip in the lodge’s pool if available. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge, where you’ll share stories with fellow travelers and experience the charm of the African wilderness. You will have an overnight stay.

Game Drive and Hiking the Falls

On the third day of your adventure, you’ll start early with a morning game drive through Murchison Falls National Park. As the sun rises, the park’s vast savannah and grasslands come alive with activity. The morning is the best time to spot the park’s most iconic wildlife, including lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and elephants. Your experienced guide will help you track the animals and provide fascinating insights into their behavior and the park’s ecosystem. After an exhilarating game drive, you’ll have your lunch and head to the iconic Murchison Falls. A hike to the top of the falls is an awe-inspiring experience, where you’ll witness the dramatic sight of the Nile River gushing through a narrow gorge and plunging over 40 meters, creating a thundering roar and a misty spray. The view from the top of the falls is truly spectacular and offers incredible photo opportunities.

Game Drive and Boat Safari

On the fourth day, another exciting morning game drive awaits you. As you drive through Murchison Falls, keep your eyes peeled for a range of wildlife, from lions to antelopes. The game drives in Murchison Falls National Park offer the opportunity to see animals in their natural habitat, and with the help of your guide, you will be able to spot many species, including the rare leopard. After the game drive, return to your lodge for lunch, where you can enjoy a freshly prepared meal. In the afternoon, a thrilling boat safari awaits you on the Nile River. This boat ride takes you closer to the Murchison Falls and offers you an opportunity to observe hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species, including the African fish eagle. The boat safari provides a unique perspective of the falls and wildlife along the riverbanks. As the sun sets, you’ll head back to the lodge for a delicious dinner, and after a busy day, a peaceful overnight stay awaits you.

The drive will take around 5 to 6 hours, offering scenic views of the countryside, with the chance to see small towns and rural villages along the way. Upon arrival at the park, you will check in at your lodge and have lunch. Queen Elizabeth is home to a wide range of animals, including elephants, lions, leopards, and buffaloes, as well as a wealth of bird species. After lunch, you can relax and enjoy the lodge’s amenities or explore the surrounding area. In the evening, savor a delicious dinner and enjoy a restful overnight stay in the park. The peaceful atmosphere of Queen Elizabeth will prepare you for another day of adventure in one of Uganda’s most diverse wildlife regions.

Coffee Experience and Evening Game Drive

The morning begins with an authentic coffee experience, where you will learn about the coffee-growing process, from bean picking to roasting and brewing. This experience offers you a chance to engage with local farmers and understand the important role coffee plays in Uganda’s economy and culture. After the coffee experience, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll head out for an evening game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is home to the famous tree-climbing lions of Ishasha, and your guide will take you to the areas where these lions are often spotted, as well as other wildlife such as buffalo, antelopes, and elephants. You will be transferred to the airport for your international flight, concluding your unforgettable Big Five Uganda safari.
