Day 2

After an early breakfast, you’ll begin your hike on the Chogoria route, one of the most scenic ascents. The trail winds through dense bamboo forests, followed by alpine meadows and moorlands. As you ascend, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, including Lenana Point, the most accessible summit of Mount Kenya. Along the way, the guides will provide fascinating insights about the landscape, plant life, and wildlife, such as the endemic Mount Kenya antelope. Day 3

After a hearty breakfast and some time to relax, you’ll begin your journey to Samburu National Reserve, which is located about 4-5 hours away by road. This drive takes you through rugged terrain, with dramatic views of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival at Samburu, you’ll check into your lodge or tented camp. Samburu is known for its unique wildlife, including species like the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and the reticulated giraffe. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on your first safari game drive.
