1-Day Mikumi Safari by Sgr Train from Dar Es Salaam

• You'll be collected from the airport.

We will pick you up from the agreed-upon point in Dar es Salaam and transfer you to the train station. The train leaves Dar es Salaam at 06:00 am, depending on your time. It will take you only one hour and a half (01:30) to reach Morogoro town. We pick you up from Morogoro and drive 2 hours to Mikumi Park.
The journey is exciting and beautiful, especially as we drive alongside the Uluguru Mountains. As we approach, we can see the Udzungwa Mountain range to the south of Mikumi.
This park is often called the second Serengeti as it has vast, wide-open savanna plains. The Mkata River basin is an alluvial plain where the water attracts many small game animals to drink, and thus, the big cats and other carnivores are never far away.
After your exciting safari game drive adventure, we will break for lunch at the restaurant inside the park. We return to Dar es Salaam and drop you off at the agreed place.
