Day 1

Kilimanjaro Airport - Arusha

On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport upon your international flight, you will enter the Arrival Lounge where all passengers will be asked for their Yellow Fever Vaccination Card.
N.B. it is compulsory to have this to enter Tanzania if you have stayed more than 12h in a country with high risk of transmission.
Once this formality has been checked, you will directly go to the immigration counter to proceed with your visa formalities.
After collection of your luggage, you will meet your driver outside the airport and transferred to your hotel, which takes around 30/45minutes, Dinner and Overnight at The African Tulip.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, you will receive an in-depth safari briefing at your hotel, and your African Adventure begins.
You will depart with your private driver-guide to Tarangire National Park which takes approximately 3h.
You will do a game drive in the National Park with a picnic lunch. At the end of the day, transfer to your Hotel located at Karatu for the dinner and overnight,
Tarangire National Park is the sixth largest national park, The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. The Tarangire River is the primary source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the annual dry season.
The park is famous for its high density of elephants and baobab trees. Visitors to the park in the June to November dry season can expect to see large migration. Predators in Tarangire include African lion, leopard, cheetah, caracal, honey badger, and African wild dog.

You will carry your lunch packed and descend the steep walls of the crater for a half-day crater tour, have your Lunch on the Ngorongoro Crater floor while spotting the animals, after half day Ngorongoro Crate your guide will drive you to Oldupai George where you will see the many sites expose by the gorge have proven furthering understanding early human evolution, after you will driver by to Kilimanjaro international airport for boarding your flight,
The Ngorongoro Crater is a World Heritage Site and better known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World”. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera.
The Ngorongoro Crater is the only spot in Africa where one can see all three species of jackals including the blackbacked jackal, golden jackal and side stripped jackal. Jackal pairs mate for life and are capable hunters taking a variety of prey items including insects, birds, rodents and gazelle fawns though they are also opportunistic scavengers.
