Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will depart from Nairobi at 7:00am and drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve, traveling through the Great Rift Valley and Narok. You will arrive at the camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a game drive in this spectacular reserve, which is renowned for its excellent wildlife viewing and is home to all of the Big Five, including the largest population of lions in Kenya. The vast landscape of the Mara, along with its diverse range of wildlife, makes this experience a perfect highlight of your safari. After the evening game drive, you will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full-Day in Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will leave the camp for a full-day game drive, including a picnic lunch. The day will be spent exploring the reserve in search of the great predators, and you may even spot their cubs. As you traverse the plains, you will encounter large herds of grazing animals, along with elusive cheetahs and leopards hiding among the acacia trees. You will enjoy unlimited game-viewing drives while searching for the Big Five and other wildlife.

During July, August and September, the reserve is typically filled with migrating wildebeests and zebras from the Serengeti, offering a great chance to witness their crossings. Dinner and overnight accommodations will follow your adventure.
