Nairobi - Maasai Mara National Reserve

Your safari begins with a pick up from your hotel or Nairobi Airport at 7:00 AM. Drive to Maasai Mara is approximately 5-6 hours, passing through the Great Rift Valley with scenic stops along the way for photos. Arrive in Maasai Mara in the afternoon, check in to your lodge, and have lunch relaxing a bit before your exciting game drive. After lunch, enjoy your first game drive in Maasai Mara, a reserve teeming with wildlife, including lions, elephants, cheetahs etc. Depending on the time of the year, you might be lucky enough to witness the Great Migration crossing the Mara River. After the game drive, head back to your lodge for a delicious dinner and a relaxing evening.

Maasai Mara - Maasai village

Check out from the lodge by 9am. Have a morning game drive till 2:00 PM. After game drive, head to the Maasai village. Here you'll learn about the traditional Maasai culture, their lifestyle and how they coexist with the wildlife in the region. Have your lunch en route on your way back to Nairobi, for approximately 5-6 hours. You will be dropped off at your hotel or airport by evening.
