Day 1

Serengeti National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel and transported to Zanzibar International Airport in the morning. You will take a small plane from there to the Serengeti Seronera Airstrip. Upon arrival at the airstrip, your day will kick off with an exciting morning of game drives that will continue into the afternoon. You will take a break for a picnic lunch before resuming your exploration of the Serengeti with an afternoon game drive that will conclude at sunset.

The Serengeti is a national park in northern Tanzania and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It covers an area of approximately 15,000km² (5,800mi²) and is home to over 2 million herbivores, including 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs and around 500 bird species. During the Dry season, the park also hosts massive herds of migratory wildebeests and zebras.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, you will embark on an exhilarating game drive across the diverse ecosystems of the Serengeti. The park's golden plains, dotted with acacia trees and teeming with wildlife, provide endless opportunities for incredible encounters. Watch in awe as lions prowl, elephants march in majestic herds, and cheetahs sprint gracefully across the grasslands. Every moment highlights the extraordinary beauty of the Serengeti.

By midday, you will pause for a picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness, soaking in the sights and sounds of this untamed paradise. After lunch, you will continue your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through rolling hills and picturesque landscapes.

Upon arriving at the Ngorongoro Highlands, you will check into the Ngorongoro Safari Lodge, which offers breathtaking views of the iconic Ngorongoro Crater. Relax in the lodge's serene ambiance as you enjoy the sunset over the vast caldera and prepare for an early morning.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, your adventure begins with a descent into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. This incredible location is home to the famous Big Five and many other animals, including hyenas. Later in the day, you will savor a picnic lunch before embarking on an exhilarating game drive as you ascend toward the crater rim. Finally, your journey will take you to Arusha Airport, where you will catch your flight back to Zanzibar.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest caldera, formed by an explosion approximately 2 to 3 million years ago. The crater's floor is 1,800m (5,900ft) above sea level, and it is home to around 30,000 animals and a diverse range of bird species.
