Upon your arrival, our representative or guide will meet you at the airport, assist with your transfer, and take you to your lodge in Arusha. The drive to your hotel is approximately 40 minutes. Before your safari begins, your safari consultant and guide will provide a detailed briefing on your itinerary, including essential tips for the journey ahead.

After breakfast, you'll journey to Ndutu for an immersive Great Migration Safari. Nestled within the Ngorongoro and Serengeti ecosystems, Ndutu is a prime destination for witnessing the Wildebeest Migration and Calving Season, which unfolds between January and March. The alkaline waters of Lake Ndutu, while unusual for their high salinity, are still vital for the wildlife that flock to drink. The area is famous for its rich predator population, including cheetahs, lions, and leopards. The true allure of Ndutu lies in venturing off the beaten path, offering a more intimate wildlife experience.

In the evening, you'll head to your lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Your day will be entirely dedicated to tracking wildebeests and their newborn calves spread across the expansive Ndutu plains. With an abundance of food, predators and other animals also give birth, making it an excellent time to spot young cubs. The presence of vulnerable prey turns Ndutu into a natural training ground for predators, where dramatic hunting scenes are likely to unfold.

You have the option to return to your lodge for lunch, but regardless, your day in Ndutu will be filled with incredible wildlife encounters as you witness vast herds of wildebeests while predators lurk in pursuit.

In the evening, you’ll return to your lodge for a leisurely dinner and overnight stay.

As we continue towards Karatu, you’ll carry with you the unforgettable sights and sounds of Tanzania’s most incredible safari destinations.

Upon arrival in Karatu, you’ll be transferred to your lodge, where you can unwind and relax, reflecting on the incredible memories of your Tanzanian safari.
