Transfer to Ruaha National Park

Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or the airport. Following this, you will depart for Ruaha National Park, which is approximately a three-hour drive away. Upon your arrival, lunch will be served. After lunch, you will embark on a game drive that will continue until late sunset. In the evening, dinner will be provided, and you will enjoy an overnight stay at Ruaha Hilltop.

Game drive at Ruaha National Park

Embark on a morning journey to Ruaha National Park, which is conveniently located just 20 minutes from your accommodation. As the second largest national park in Tanzania and renowned for hosting one of the highest populations of lions globally, Ruaha offers an unparalleled opportunity for wildlife enthusiasts. You will spend the entire day engaging in game drives that allow you to immerse yourself in the park’s pristine wilderness. During these excursions, you will encounter a diverse array of wildlife and appreciate the stunning features of this untouched landscape. Notably, Ruaha is home to endangered antelope species such as the sable antelope and lesser kudu, which are frequently spotted within its boundaries. At midday, a picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a designated site before resuming your game drive until evening. After a fulfilling day of exploration, you will return to Ruaha Hilltop Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning Schedule: You will begin your day with breakfast. Following this, you have the option to either return to Iringa directly or make a stop at the Maasai village in Tungamalenga.
