Day 1

The Shuttle departs O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg at 07h00. On arrival in Hazyview approximately 5 hours later, you will be collected by an Elephant Herd Tours & Safaris guide and transported to your accommodation.

After a welcome drink in the beautiful and bird-rich gardens of the guesthouse, you will have 2 to 3 hours to unpack and relax before we collect you for an unforgettable one hour experience with Africa's gentle giants, the African Elephant or for a fun-filled afternoon on an aerial cable trail gliding over the tree canopies along the Sabie River.

The evening will be spent at leisure.

There is a restaurant on-site where you will be able to enjoy your dinners.

Day 2

Kruger National Park Safari

Kruger National Park Safari

Your safari to the Kruger National Park starts before sunrise in one of our open safari vehicles, giving you the opportunity to view animals from a higher vantage point and a perfect panoramic view. Your guide will use his expert knowledge to help you search for and find the iconic animals in the park whilst interpreting the natural environment during the drive.

We will have a brief stop for breakfast at around 08h30 to enjoy the individually packed breakfast packs which your guesthouse would have provided you with which you will be able to enjoy at a rest camp or a picnic spot along the planned route for that day. There will also be a lunch stop should you wish to purchase a lunch snack from the restaurants inside the Kruger Park or stretch your legs.

You will return to your guesthouse at around 15h30 in time for a refreshing drink or a dip in the pool at your own leisure.

There is a restaurant on-site where you will be able to enjoy your dinners.

Day at leisure

Start your day off with a delicious breakfast, appreciating the view of the still waters below. The more active guest want to enjoy the on-site hiking trail or nearby activities such as abseiling, river rafting and biking. Enjoy a day relaxing at the lodge, soaking in the tranquility of the lodge, unwinding with a drink at the bar, or take a cooling dip in the infinity pool. End the day by watching twilight darken the sky and reveal a clear and star-filled night.

Day 4

Transfer to the Luxury Lodge via the Panorama Route

Transfer to the Luxury Lodge via the Panorama Route

After a leisurely breakfast, our guide will be waiting to pick you up for the transfer to the private game reserve.

As you travel via the scenic Panorama Route through the Blyde River Canyon, the third-largest canyon in the world, you will experience breathtaking views and sights before arriving at the reserve.

You will arrive in time to unpack, refresh and enjoy a light lunch. You can spend the afternoon on the deck around the pool or on the patio outside your chalet. At 16h00, you will meet your guide and depart on a late afternoon safari to soak in the wildlife on the reserve. During the safari, the guide will stop for a sundowner in the heart of the bushveld, where you can enjoy a drink and some traditional South African snacks while you watch the sunset over the African bushveld.

Later, have dinner under the stars, possibly around a boma fire or on the deck overlooking the waterhole.

Expert Rangers and a dedicated hospitality team will ensure that your stay at the luxury lodge is truly memorable.
Each day begins with an early morning safari game drive. In the late afternoon guests head out on a sunset game drive and return after dark, offering guests exhilarating night game drives as well! Optional bush walks may be offered after breakfast/brunch.

After your final morning game drive and breakfast, you will be transferred to the meeting point where you will board a mini-bus shuttle for your road transfer to O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.

If you prefer, a transfer can be arranged to either Hoedspruit Airport or Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for your onward travels.
