You'll embark on a two-hour drive to Materuni Village, located at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, you'll hike to the renowned waterfalls. Afterward, enjoy a local buffet lunch, followed by a presentation on the history of the Chagga people, the indigenous residents of the Kilimanjaro region. You’ll also have the chance to learn about coffee production.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the remarkable Tarangire National Park! This park is renowned for its diverse landscapes, featuring nine distinct vegetation zones. It is especially famous for its ancient baobab trees, the largest on the continent, which dominate the landscape and create a striking contrast with the animals nearby.

Tarangire’s river is iconic, and the park is teeming with wildlife, including a wide variety of bird species, lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and, of course, elephants. In fact, Tarangire boasts the highest concentration of elephants in the country, offering unparalleled opportunities to observe the social dynamics of elephant families.

For lunch, you'll enjoy a picnic in a stunning area with an observatory that offers breathtaking views of the river and surrounding wildlife, where you might even witness a hunt. After lunch, we will embark on an exciting game drive before heading back to your accommodation.

After an early breakfast, you'll embark on a transfer game drive to Serengeti, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, enjoy a picnic lunch with another group before heading out for an afternoon and sunset game drive. In the evening, you will be dropped off at the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay. If you wish to upgrade your accommodation, we will be happy to assist.

Start your day with a breathtaking sunrise view, followed by a delicious breakfast. Afterward, embark on an exciting game drive that will take you through the vast plains, dotted with acacia trees and teeming with wildlife. The Serengeti is renowned for its incredible biodiversity, home to the annual Great Migration. Millions of wildebeest, along with hundreds of thousands of zebras and various species of antelopes such as impalas and Thomson's gazelles, make their way through the region towards the Masai Mara. It's also a prime location for spotting hyenas and big cats, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Many iconic scenes of the dramatic river crossings have been filmed right here in the park.

We’ll have excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five, along with hyenas, zebras, elephants, and many more fascinating species.
