You will be picked up from your hotel or airport by your driver for a departure to the Masai Mara Game Reserve stopping at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and then have lunch at Narok. You will arrive at Mara in the afternoon, check in and have a short rest before you proceed to enjoy your afternoon game drive in the reserve which is famous for its high animal concentration, abundance, and variety. You will go in search of the Big Five with game drives across the grassy plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve before going back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Full day at the park

After your breakfast in the morning, you begin your spectacular whole day game drive which will allow spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park. The reserve is known for providing excellent predator sightings thanks to its relatively large population of lions, cheetahs and leopards. At the river, we’ll see hippos but also camouflaged in their natural habitat we’ll spot the many crocodiles awaiting the wildlife traversing the river. This is a spectacle that has played out for millennia. To bring more texture to your experience at the Mara, you may want to take advantage of several optional events we offer at an extra cost. Experience a visit to the local Maasai people in their nearby village. Take a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden savannah and witness the herds of wildlife emerging into the day. Your driver/guide can arrange either of these optional excursions.

Masai Mara-Nairobi

On your last day, wake up very early to prepare for the morning game drive in Maasai Mara. After the game drive, return to the lodge for a full breakfast, then depart for Nairobi by road. You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon.
