Flight from Dar esSalaam to Kigoma - Boat from Kigoma to Gombe National Park

We will pick you up from the agreed-upon point in Dar es Salaam and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Kigoma town. Upon arrival at Kigoma airport, our team will meet you and transfer you to the Lake Tanganyika shore to take a private boat to Gombe National Park. Arrive at the park late evening to relax at the beach, have dinner, and overnight.

Chimpanzee Trakking and Mwamgongo Culture Tourism

Eat breakfast at your accommodation, then leave for a chimpanzee trip in the forest. Gombe Stream National Park’s main attraction is the chimpanzee families that live and are protected inside the park’s boundaries. Apart from chimpanzee viewing, many other species of primates live in these tropical forests. Colobus monkeys, baboons, forest pigs, and dik-dik inhabit the dense forest and a wide variety of tropical birdlife. The tour also includes visiting Kakombe Waterfall, an evening cultural tourism site at Mwamgongo village.
Mwamgongo Village is located adjacent to Gombe National Park. The village formed a women's cultural group. Visitors can experience authentic hospitality and learn about traditional dances and local arts and crafts. They produce pottery, fabrics, grass hats, mats and baskets using traditional techniques and local materials.

Hiking at the Mountain seaching for Chimpanzees - Walking safari & Swimming at Lake Tanganyika

Have an early breakfast, then leave the accommodation and start mountain hiking. There are magnificent views of the mountains of the rift escarpment falling westwards into the lake. The undulating terrain, valleys, mosaic forest, woodland and grassland provide visitors with varied, attractive landscapes. In the afternoon, you can do a Short walk along the shores of Lake Tanganyika or to the Waterfalls and swim at the Lake Tanganyika beach.

Gombe Natinal Park to Kigoma airport and fly back to Dar es Salaam

Breakfast at your lodge. Then transfer by boat to Kigoma, where you will meet your driver again and take you with a car to the airport for your flight back to Dar es Salaam. On arrival at Dar es Salaam, you will be transferred to the hotel or to the park where your friend will be and join them for the game drive safari.
