Day 1

Today, after meeting your driver, you’ll begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, located about two hours away. Your safari adventure starts immediately as you enter the park, where you’ll have the opportunity to see impressive herds of elephants, multiple lion prides, and a variety of wildlife. A delicious lunch will be served during the day, and after, your safari will continue. In the evening, you’ll be transferred to a budget lodge in Mto wa Mbu for an overnight stay.

Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
Start your day early to catch the wildlife at its most active in Ngorongoro Crater, known as the "8th Natural Wonder of the World." After an hour’s drive, you’ll explore the park, home to diverse species like buffalo, elephants, lions, zebras, and rare black rhinos. Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing the safari. In the evening, head back to Arusha for an overnight stay.

Day 3
Hiking Mount Kilimanjaro
Hiking Mount Kilimanjaro
The day trip to Mount Kilimanjaro begins around 5 AM from Arusha (or even earlier to avoid traffic). Depending on the location of your hotel, the drive will take between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. After an early breakfast, you'll depart with your guide for the journey to Kilimanjaro National Park to begin your day hike.
The hike takes you up to the expansive Shira Plateau at 3,600 meters, a volcanic caldera that is over 500,000 years old and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can enjoy lunch at the plateau or continue on to Shira 1 Camp, Lion Gorge, and the base of the Shira Pinnacles. Along the way, you’ll have stunning views of Kilimanjaro’s iconic snow-capped Kibo Peak and its surrounding glaciers.
