Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you'll set off on an exciting journey to Tarangire National Park for a thrilling game drive. Spanning an impressive 3,000 square kilometers, Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and distinctive baobab trees.
The park gets its name from the winding Tarangire River, which flows through its heart. During the dry season (June - November), Tarangire is especially remarkable, with wildlife concentrations rivaling those of the Serengeti.
Thanks to its varied landscapes and the year-round water source of the Tarangire River, the park is home to over 2,000 elephants and 500 bird species. You’ll have a delicious lunch within the park before heading back to Arusha. From there, you’ll make your way to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.
