Arrival and First Game Drive

Your safari adventure begins with a scenic road transfer from Nairobi to Masai Mara, where you’ll join the rest of the group. Your driver-guide will be with you throughout the journey, offering insights into the landscape and wildlife along the way. Upon arrival at your selected lodge or camp, you’ll have time to settle in and meet your fellow safari-goers. After a hearty lunch, you’ll head out for your first group game drive. The Masai Mara’s expansive plains and rolling hills provide excellent wildlife viewing, with chances to see the "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino), as well as giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, and numerous bird species. Your experienced guide will share interesting details about the ecosystem and wildlife. After an exciting day of game viewing, return to the lodge or camp for a delicious dinner. Relax with the group in the evening, sharing stories and experiences from the day.

Game Drive and Visit to a Maasai Village

After an early breakfast, your group will set off for a full day of adventure in the Mara. The morning game drive offers the best opportunities to spot predators like lions and cheetahs while they’re most active. You’ll drive through the reserve, stopping at key hotspots to view elephants, giraffes, antelopes, and possibly even a rare leopard or cheetah. A picnic breakfast in the heart of the reserve allows you to take in the scenery and wildlife. Your guide will lead you to different areas for the best wildlife viewing. In the afternoon, visit a Maasai village to learn about Maasai culture, traditions, and daily life. Participate in activities like singing, dancing, and witnessing the famous Maasai jumping dance. You can also purchase unique handicrafts from local artisans. Afterward, continue your game drive, spotting more wildlife and enjoying the Mara’s landscapes before returning to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening with the group.

Morning Game Drive and Departure

On your final day, the group will head out early for a morning game drive, giving you one last chance to experience the Masai Mara's incredible wildlife. The early morning is the best time to see predators on the hunt or observe herds of animals as they move across the plains. Enjoy the serenity of the Mara at dawn as the sun rises over the savannah and the wildlife awakens.

After the game drive, return to the lodge or camp for a delicious breakfast and some relaxation before departure. You’ll then begin your scenic road journey back to Nairobi, taking in the beautiful landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, the group will disband, and you’ll have the option to either continue your travels or enjoy some leisure time in the city.
