Cape Town to Cape Agulhas

Today, we will pick you up from your hotel and depart on our journey to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of Africa, where tranquility awaits us! Our first stop is Betty’s Bay, home to a delightful local penguin colony. Next, we head to Hermanus, renowned as the premier land-based whale watching destination in the world!

We’ll take some time to explore the vibrant local African markets, and enjoying lunch in Hermanus is highly recommended. Afterward, we continue to Struisbaai/Cape Agulhas, where we’ll visit the iconic lighthouse offering stunning 360-degree views of both the Indian and Atlantic Oceans!
Tonight, we’ll be staying at the charming Mermaid Guest House!

Struisbaai to Garden Route Game Lodge

As we depart from the southern tip of Africa, we set our sights on the stunning Garden Route Game Lodge! This 4-star facility provides a unique safari experience. After checking into our chalets, you'll have some time to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings.
In the afternoon, we’ll board an open-air safari vehicle for a 1.5-hour game drive led by a knowledgeable local guide. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, rhinos, lions, hippos, and herds of antelope, among many other incredible
wildlife! To top off the day, a delicious three-course dinner awaits us. Tonight, we’ll enjoy our stay at the Garden Route Game Lodge.

We start the day with an early morning game drive to catch a glimpse of any animals you may have missed the night before, followed by a delightful breakfast! After we’ve enjoyed our meal, we’ll set off towards Cape Town via Route 62, famously known as the longest wine route in the world, where breath-taking landscapes and towering cliffs await us!

Wine tasting and exploring are on the menu before arrival at your place of accommodation in Cape Town around 5-6pm.
