Day 1

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and, following a short orientation, set off for Tarangire National Park. Renowned for its sprawling savannah, iconic baobab trees, and seasonal marshes, Tarangire boasts the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania. Along with elephants, you’re likely to encounter giraffes, buffalos, lions, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of antelopes and gazelles. Upon arrival, your guide will open the vehicle’s roof, kicking off your wildlife viewing adventure. You’ll enjoy lunch at a scenic picnic spot before continuing to explore the wonders of this stunning park in the afternoon.

After breakfast, you will journey toward the Rift Valley, passing through the vibrant towns of Mto wa Mbu and Karatu in the cooler highlands of the crater region. Upon entering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you’ll pause at a breathtaking viewpoint to take in the stunning vistas of the crater. Continuing your journey around the crater, you’ll descend on the other side, experiencing a bumpy yet exciting 'African massage' as you pass traditional Maasai villages on your way to Serengeti National Park. At the Naabi Hill entrance gate, you’ll have the opportunity to walk to a viewpoint offering panoramic views of the vast Serengeti savannah plains. From there, you’ll proceed to the Seronera Area in central Serengeti, where you’ll have the chance to encounter abundant wildlife, including the iconic Big Five: lions, elephants, buffalos, rhinos, and leopards.

After an early breakfast, you will set off on a morning game drive, offering excellent opportunities to spot a variety of wildlife. Afterward, you’ll return to camp for lunch and to pack up. As you depart from the Serengeti, your adventure continues with a game drive en route to Simba Campsite, located near the rim of the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, approximately a two-hour drive away.

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater in search of the rare and elusive black rhinos. While rhinos are among the most challenging animals to spot, the crater’s unique landscape makes it easy to encounter many other wildlife species.

Following lunch, you will embark on another game drive before ascending the crater to return to camp. After packing up, you will head back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
