Lake Manyara National Park
Today, you’ll enjoy stunning views of Lake Manyara and get up close to elephants in the park’s woodlands. Visit the famous Manyara Hippo Pool, where you can observe these magnificent creatures lounging in the water from early morning until late evening. After a day of exploration, you'll overnight at Marera Valley Lodge on a full-board basis.
Lake Manyara National Park spans 330 sq. km (127 sq. miles), with up to 200 sq. km (77 sq. miles) covered by the lake during high water levels. It’s a prime spot for bird watching and home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalo, and even the rare tree-climbing lions. During your game drive, you’ll stop at the hippo pool, where you can stretch your legs and watch the hippos in their natural habitat, offering a unique and memorable experience in this beautiful park.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you'll begin your game drive to the Serengeti Ndutu, located between the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Here, you’ll enjoy two full days of exciting game drives.
Ndutu is renowned for its exceptional wildlife viewing, especially during the green season from December to March. Situated in the southern part of the Serengeti plains, this area witnesses the birth of around 8,000 wildebeest calves each day. The landscape is dominated by acacia woodlands, providing a perfect backdrop for wildlife sightings. Ndutu is also a prime location for spotting six species of big cats, including leopard, lion, cheetah, caracal, African wildcat, and serval.

You will spend the entire day in the Ndutu area, offering excellent opportunities to witness the wildebeest migration, especially between December and March. During the calving season, the area provides dramatic hunting scenes as predators take advantage of the vulnerable newborns.

Tarangire National Park to Arusha
After a delicious breakfast, our driver-guide will pick you up at your hotel, along with your picnic lunch, and drive you to Tarangire National Park for an exciting day of game viewing. After a thorough game drive and a break for lunch, we will return to Arusha, marking the end of your safari adventure.
The park’s name comes from the Tarangire River, which runs through the park and serves as the only water source for wildlife during the dry season. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and the fascinating tree-climbing African pythons. After an unforgettable day exploring the park’s unique landscapes and wildlife, you will be transferred back to Arusha, bringing your safari experience to a close.
