Arrive from Zanzibar to Kilimanjaro Airport

The drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, proceed to the Immigration desk for your visa stamp. Before leaving, ensure your passport is correctly stamped. Outside the airport, your Nature Responsible safari guide will be waiting with a signboard displaying one of your names. You will then depart for Haradali Home, where dinner and overnight accommodations await.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

The drive from Arusha to the Tarangire National Park gate takes approximately 2 hours.

In the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel as you set off for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds. From the open roof of your safari vehicle, you’ll explore the seasonal swamps, savannah, and the Tarangire River, keeping an eye out for zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, hartebeests, elephants, giraffes, waterbucks, and reedbucks. If you’re lucky, you might spot a lion stalking its prey or a leopard lounging in the trees above.

After an exciting game drive, taking in the sights and sounds of the wilderness, you’ll leave the park and head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will depart with a packed lunch, driving through the cooler highland region toward Lake Manyara National Park. Once there, you’ll enjoy a game drive in this park, renowned for its tree-climbing lions. While tree-climbing lions can also be seen in the Serengeti, Lake Manyara is particularly famous for them.

You’ll take a break to enjoy your packed lunch amidst the park's scenic beauty. In the late afternoon, you will leave the park and head to your accommodation, where dinner and an overnight stay await.
