Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Kigali
5:30 AM – 6:00 AM: Early breakfast at the lodge to fuel up for the trekking experience.
Arrive at the park’s visitor center for a briefing on safety, chimpanzee behavior, and what to expect during the trek.
Start your trek through the forest to locate the chimpanzee group. Depending on the group’s location, the trek can last 1 to 4 hours, as the rangers track the chimps based on their last known position.
After your chimpanzee trekking adventure, return to the lodge for lunch or any restaurant.
Begin your journey back to Kigali, with a scenic drive through Rwanda’s beautiful landscapes.
