Start your Mikumi National Park adventure with an early morning pickup in Dar es Salaam at 6 Am. Enjoy a scenic 4-5 hour drive, stopping in Morogoro for breakfast. Marvel at the captivating Uluguru Mountains as you approach the park. Embark on an afternoon game drive, searching for lions, leopards, elephants, and hyenas. Enjoy a delicious lunch within the park.
Watch the sunset with a drink before retiring to your comfortable Midrange Lodge. If time allows, experience local culture with a visit to a Masai village. Then return to the lodge for dinner and over night.

Game Drive & Departure

Following breakfast, you'll embark on a morning game drive, searching for elephants, giraffes, lions, and hippos at the renowned Hippo Pools. You'll also encounter warthogs, buffaloes, and elands. Mikumi boasts stunning savannas adorned with baobabs, teeming with diverse wildlife and birdlife. The park is renowned for its exceptional concentration of animals,
including the magnificent sable antelope, elusive African hunting dogs, and wildebeest. The southern regions are characterized by gentle slopes and vast miombo woodlands, creating a truly spectacular landscape. After your game drive you will return to the lodge to enjoy a leisurely lunch before your return drive to Dar es Salaam.
