After breakfast at your lodge, you’ll be picked up by our Gari Trips driver-guide and head towards to Mabamba Swamp on the shores of Lake Victoria, where you’ll embark on a canoe expedition in search of the iconic shoebill stork. Guided by a local expert, this experience offers breathtaking encounters with this prehistoric-looking bird, a dream for birdwatchers and photographers alike.

After this unique experience, journey to Lake Mburo National Park. En route, stop at the Equator for lunch and photo opportunities. Arrive at Rwakobo Rock, an eco-friendly retreat perched on a rocky outcrop with panoramic views of the savannah. Here, you’ll enjoy a serene evening with dinner and an overnight stay.
