Nairobi-Maasai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from your hotel or airport by your driver for a departure to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Upon arriving in the hotel, check in and have a short rest before you proceed to enjoy your afternoon game drive in the reserve which is famous for its high animal concentration, abundance, and variety. You will go in search of the Big Five with game drives across the grassy plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve before going back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Full day Mara

After breakfast, you will have a full day game drive in the Masai Mara. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lions and abundant wildlife. This is one of the few places where it's possible to see the Big five during a morning game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under vehicles. Several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey.
Your will also have an opportunity to drive down to the Mara River, site of the Great Migration when in season. This is a spectacle that has played out for millennia. At an extra cost is a visit to the local Maasai people in their nearby village. Meet these indigenous people and see up close their ancient lifestyle and culture. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Mara - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you depart to one of the Rift Valley lakes, the famous Lake Nakuru National Park. Known all over the world for its flamingoes and its alkalinity, this park is recognized as being one of the natural wonders of the world. It is also a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos. The flamingoes, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times there may be almost two million of them in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lakeshore. You will arrive here in time for lunch then go on an afternoon game drive. This park is home to all the Big 5 except the elephant, among other wildlife and several species of birds.
