After breakfast, you will have a full day game drive in the Masai Mara. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lions and abundant wildlife. This is one of the few places where it's possible to see the Big five during a morning game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under vehicles. Several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey.
Your will also have an opportunity to drive down to the Mara River, site of the Great Migration when in season. The immense herds of wildebeest and zebra are a magnificent sight, matched only by the drama of the predators who lie in wait for them. At the river, hippos camouflage in their natural habitat and also to be spotted are the many crocodiles awaiting the wildlife traversing the river. This is a spectacle that has played out for millennia.
