Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Tarangire National Park. Named after the Tarangire River, which winds through the park, this "river of warthogs" is the only water source for wildlife in the region during the dry season. The park's diverse landscapes include dense vegetation, elephant grass, acacia woodlands, and lush groundwater forests. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, often seen gathered near the river, as well as giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. These animals are regularly observed by predators like lions and leopards. The park is also home to the highest concentration of breeding bird species in the world. After a delicious lunch and an exciting game drive, we will head to Kitela Lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, we will set off for Ngorongoro Crater. As you first gaze upon the Crater, it feels like stepping into a forgotten world. Here, you'll have the chance to spot the endangered black rhino and large prides of lions. The Crater was formed millions of years ago when a massive volcano erupted and collapsed in on itself. It's famous not only for its geological wonders but also for being a natural sanctuary with some of the highest concentrations of large mammals in all of Africa. The descent into the Crater is an adventure on its own, and once you reach the floor, you'll find yourself surrounded by wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and over 500 species of birds. This is one of the best places to view the elusive black rhino, often seen grazing in the open grasslands. After a packed lunch, we’ll continue our journey to Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight accommodations await at Kubukubu Luxury Tented Lodge.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After an early breakfast at the lodge, we’ll take a short drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Though relatively small, Manyara is a diverse gem located 120 km west of Arusha, named after the shallow salt lake that covers about seventy percent of the park. This soda lake, which floods and dries seasonally, is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. As we explore the park, we’ll encounter monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, and elephants. With a bit of luck, we might even spot lions lounging in trees.
