Day 4

This is a full day of safari adventures. You'll start with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Akagera is home to the Big Five —lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and buffalo —as well as a wealth of other species, including zebras, giraffes, and numerous antelope species. Your expert guide will help you spot and identify the diverse wildlife and birdlife. You'll return to the camp for lunch and a siesta during the heat of the day. In the afternoon, you can choose between another game drive or a serene optional boat safari on Lake Rwanyakazinga, offering close encounters with hippos, crocodiles, and a myriad of water birds. As the day draws to a close, you'll enjoy a sundowner in a scenic spot in the park before returning to Magashi for your final dinner in the bush.
