Arrival at JKIA, transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Your adventure begins as you touch down at JKIA, the gateway to Kenya's wilderness. Upon your, our guide driver will be waiting for you, warmly welcome you, assist you with your luggage and escort you to your safari vehicle. You will be briefed and depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located near Nanyuki, Kenya. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours, with a scenic drive through Kenya's beautiful landscapes.

Arrive at Ol Pejeta and check in to your booked lodge, where you'll enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first thrilling game drive through the conservancy, home to an array of wildlife, including the famous Big Five. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Ol Pejeta Rhino Sanctuary, where you can learn about the conservation efforts protecting endangered species such as the Northern White Rhino.

Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation. Enjoy the serene atmosphere of the conservancy as you unwind under the African sky before retiring for the night.

Ol Pejeta conservancy exploration

Start your day with an early breakfast before heading out for a morning game drive. Explore the vast Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and cheetahs. Your guide will share insights into the ecosystem and wildlife conservation efforts.

After the game drive, return to the lodge for a delicious lunch. Enjoy some leisure time to relax or explore the surroundings before your afternoon activities.

In the afternoon, visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, one of only a few chimpanzee sanctuaries in Africa. Learn about the rescue and rehabilitation efforts for orphaned and rescued chimps as you observe them up close.

After the sanctuary visit, enjoy another thrilling evening game drive. The cool evening hours are ideal for spotting nocturnal wildlife and capturing stunning photographs of the conservancy’s diverse species.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay, reflecting on a day filled with adventure and learning.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy to Samburu National Park

After a peaceful breakfast at the lodge, enjoy your final morning at Ol Pejeta. Take in the serene surroundings as you prepare for your journey to Samburu National Reserve. Check out from your lodge and begin your drive to Samburu, a journey that will take approximately 4 hours through the scenic landscapes of central Kenya.

During the drive, you’ll pass through beautiful stretches of the Great Rift Valley and dry savannah, with occasional stops to stretch and capture the stunning views. Your safari guide will share information about the area, and you’ll have time to relax and enjoy the scenic drive.

Arrive at Samburu in the early afternoon and check in to your booked lodge. Check in, enjoy lunch and rest as you enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the area. The remainder of the day is for evening game drives to witness the unique and exciting wildlife of Samburu not forgetting the culture of the Samburu people.

Enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge before retiring for the night.

Samburu National Reserve Back to Nairobi

After a hearty breakfast at the lodge, check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi. The drive to Nairobi takes approximately 5-6 hours, offering scenic views of the Kenyan countryside as you travel south. Your guide will share the final insights about the area as you pass through changing landscapes, from Samburu’s arid beauty to the greener areas closer to Nairobi.

Along the way, you may make a brief stop for stretching, enjoying the scenery, or taking photos of the picturesque views. Arrive in Nairobi in the early afternoon and proceed to JKIA for your departure.
