On arrival at the Victoria Falls International Airport, you will be met by an Africa Zim Travel tour guide and transferred to your chosen lodge. You will finish your day with a spectacular sunset cruise.
Victoria Falls to Windhoek is one of the most popular safari tours. It features major tourist destinations in southern Africa, including Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park, Elephant Sands, Okavango Delta, Etosha National Park, Tweefontein, Swakopmund and the Sossusvlei dunes in the Namib Desert.

Day 2

On the second day, you will enjoy a free walking tour of Victoria Falls after breakfast. You will stop at various vantage points to view the falls and walk through the rainforest whilst witnessing the rainbows and feeling the spray and thundering noise of water falling into the gorge. The rest of your afternoon will be spent at leisure. You can book one of many activities with your guide. Enjoy a Boma dinner and drum show in the evening.

Day 3
Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park

At mid-morning, transfer by road to Chobe National Park at about 10:30 am, located 100km west of Victoria Falls, home to the largest concentration of elephants in Africa. Go on an afternoon game drive. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and other animals coming to the river's edge to drink.

Day 4

You will go on a game drive in Chobe National Park early in the morning. Tea and coffee are served before or during the game drive. After the game drive, from around 9:30 am to 10 am, you will have a full breakfast. It is the best time to see the big cats like lions, leopards and cheetahs.
Later in the afternoon, you will embark on a sunset cruise on the Chobe River, which is located in the Chobe National Park. The trip starts at 3 pm. Watching the game from the boat’s one of the best experiences, as you get close to the animals.

Day 5
Chobe to Elephant Sands

Elephant Sands is a bush lodge and campsite in the northeastern part of Botswana, 250km from Chobe or Kasane. Enjoy viewing the elephants at a natural waterhole right in front of the lodge. Watch these impressive creatures whilst they drink only a couple of meters away from you; a unique experience! You will spend 1 night, with breakfast and dinner included.

Day 6-7
Elephant Sands to Okavango Delta

On day 6, we travel further into the Okavango Delta via Maun town and stay at Swamp Stop Okavango River Camp on the banks of the Okavango River.
The next day, we will explore the Okavango Delta by boat and on foot. We will enjoy a mokoro (traditional canoe) cruise and guided game walks on land (water levels permitting). The delta is home to most of Africa's iconic species, from giraffes to rhinos and hippos to elephants.

Day 8
Swamp Stop Camp to Hakusembe River Lodge

Arrive at the Hakusembe River Lodge, which is located near the Okavango River. Here, you can opt for a boat cruise on the river during the afternoon, or simply relax and enjoy your tranquil surroundings. It's one of the accommodation treasures to discover - and frequent - when in the northern reaches of the country. It will soon be etched into itineraries, breaking the long haul from Windhoek and Etosha to the Zambezi Region and Vic Falls. Excitement builds up as you turn onto the entrance road, and relief washes over you as you reach Hakusembe River Lodge. You have arrived!

Day 9-10
Hakusembe Lodge to Etosha National Park

On day 9, we travel to Etosha, Namibia's flagship national park, where we enjoy our first game drive in the park in our overland vehicle. Dominated by a giant salt pan, it is easy to spot wildlife that gathers around the few waterholes to drink. Some species you may spot in the park include lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, zebra and giraffe. Our lodge is located just outside the park entrance. This evening, you can sit on your private patio and listen to the sounds of the bush. The following day, we enjoy a full-day game drive in open 4x4 vehicles from our lodge.

Day 11
Etosha to Damaraland

After a leisurely morning, we head west through the incredible mountainous terrain of Damaraland. The views along the route are spectacular. Our lodge is located on top of a mountain with breathtaking views of the surrounding area and a pool carved out of the natural rock face. It's an amazing place to spend the night. The area is also home to one of the world's longest ziplines, which is a spectacular way to take in the surrounding Damaraland scenery!

Day 12
Damaraland to Swakopmund

Today, we head towards the coast. This part of Namibia is known for the huge numbers of flamingos that gather to feed, and you'll be able to get a good look at these beautiful birds. Arriving in the German colonial coastal town of Swakopmund mid-afternoon, there's free time for you to relax at the hotel or enjoy some of the optional activities available. You could head out to sea on a dolphin-watching cruise, or take to the skies over the Namib Desert (book and pay locally).

Day 13-14
Swakopmund to Sossusvlei & Sesriem

Leaving Swakopmund, we travel south to the edge of the Namib Desert. Our lodge here is just a few kilometres from the mighty dunes of Sossusvlei. The following morning, we head into the desert to appreciate the beauty of the dunes, which are the highest in the world. Enjoy a moderate five-kilometre walk to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, as well as a hike through the staggering Sesriem Canyon. Springbok, oryx and ostrich are some of the hardy species you may spot living out in the desert.

Our overland adventure comes to an end after breakfast, and the hotel check-out is today. You will be transferred to Windhoek for your departure.
