Day 2

Day 3

After breakfast, you will have a full day to continue exploring Fish River Canyon. Witness the remarkable geological formations that began to take shape 300 million years ago, as the Fish River carved its way through hard quartzite, creating a canyon that stretches 90 kilometers in length, reaches depths of 549 meters, and spans up to 28 kilometers in width. As the world's second-largest canyon, this awe-inspiring natural wonder is part of the 45,000-hectare Canyon Nature Park, a sanctuary for Karoo succulent flora and diverse endemic wildlife. Included in your itinerary is a visit to the Fish River Canyon Viewpoint. Optional activities include the Fish River Hiking Trail, scenic chartered flights, and horse riding. This historic seaside town is known for its proximity to the famous abandoned town of Kolmanskop. After breakfast at Timo's Guesthouse, you will visit Kolmanskop, an eerie yet fascinating ghost town that was once a thriving diamond mining hub. The town, once vibrant and wealthy, was abandoned by 1956. During your visit, you have two options: explore independently for photos or take a guided tour to learn about the town’s rich history before venturing out on your own. Opting for the guided tour is highly recommended, as it provides intriguing stories that add depth to the experience. Your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 6

After breakfast, you will drive west towards the world-famous Namib Desert, covering approximately 534.7 km. Along the way, you will witness the stunning landscapes leading to the iconic red dunes of Sossusvlei. Upon arrival at your lodge in the afternoon, you will have time to relax before enjoying a scenic sundowner dune drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

At the first light of dawn, you will set out for an excursion to the renowned dunes of Sossusvlei, taking advantage of the optimal lighting. You will have time to climb the towering Sossusvlei dunes, walk through the surreal landscape of Deadvlei, and explore Sesriem Canyon, whose geological formations offer insight into the Earth's ancient history. Your tour guide will make regular stops for photographs and to fully experience the vast desert scenery. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

This morning, you will depart for the cooler coastal town of Swakopmund, located by the Atlantic Ocean. Along the way, you will make a stop at Solitair to refuel. Swakopmund, with its small-town German charm, features architectural buildings, palm-lined streets, seaside promenades, as well as a variety of restaurants, cafes, art galleries, and museums. In the afternoon, you'll visit the Cape Cross Seal Colony, home to thousands of seals. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Atlantic Villa.

After an early breakfast, clients will continue with their activities, enjoying the cool breeze of the coastal town. The town’s unique blend of German and Namibian influences, adventure options, laid-back atmosphere, and refreshing sea breeze make it a top destination in Namibia. Today’s included activities are sandboarding and quad biking. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Atlantic Villa.
