Johannesburg to Kruger National Park

You are starting your fantastic adventure today by being picked up from the airport shuttle departure at 06h45 to travel the distance between Johannesburg and the town of Hazyview.

Your arrival time in Hazyview will be around 12h30, after which you will be transferred to your private lodge accommodation for the night inside the Kruger National Park. Lunch will be ready upon arrival, after which you can check in to your room to freshen up. Then, embark on a nice, informative afternoon open safari vehicle game drive in Big 5 territory that will allow for the most optimal way of viewing Mother Nature and all the beauty of the fauna and flora.

You will spend the next 4 nights in this Big 5 private lodge inside the Kruger and can enjoy nature in its purest form.

Kruger National Park Big 5 Safaris

Awaking early to the sounds of the bush, we have a quick cup of coffee or tea with some traditional South African rusks, after which we head out on our early morning safari.

Waking up early means seeing the animals while they are still active or busy hunting before they rest during the heat of the day. After an extensive morning drive, we return to the lodge to enjoy a delicious, well-catered breakfast. We then have some time to relax around the pool and enjoy the scenery. Your chef will prepare a lovely lunch. After lunch, there will be some time for a siesta.

In the late afternoon, when it starts to cool down again, we will head out on our afternoon safari and head in a different direction in search of other animals and species we haven’t seen yet. Watch out for some predators as you cruise gently through the bush.

Dinner will be served upon arrival back from your safari.

Full-Day Panorama Route Guided Tour

A day out on the Panorama Route in South Africa is an unforgettable adventure, showcasing some of the country's most spectacular natural wonders. This scenic drive weaves through the picturesque landscapes of Mpumalanga, offering a range of breathtaking viewpoints and dramatic geological formations.

Today, we will explore the beauty of the infamous Panorama Route, stopping at most of the highlights that gave it its name. Some of the highlights today include God's Window and Bourke's Luck Potholes, as well as the third-largest canyon in the world, the Blyde River Canyon.

As you drive along the Panorama Route, each stop brings a new vista, and the stunning scenery leaves a lasting impression. The diversity of the landscape - from rugged canyons and waterfalls to lush forests and expansive views - creates an experience that is both visually striking and deeply tranquil.

Lunch will be somewhere en route, and we will return to the lodge in the late afternoon.

Kruger National Park Big 5 Safaris

As the first light filters through the trees, we rise early to the tranquil sounds of the African wilderness. A warm cup of coffee or tea, accompanied by traditional South African rusks, energizes us for the adventure ahead. Soon after, we set out on our early morning safari.

The cool morning hours offer the best chance to witness wildlife in action - predators finishing their hunts and grazers starting their day. After an exhilarating game drive, we return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast, thoughtfully prepared to satisfy every appetite. The rest of the morning is yours to unwind, perhaps by the pool, soaking in the breathtaking views. A delightful lunch will be served on the deck.

Later, we embark on an afternoon safari, exploring new landscapes and seeking out species we have yet to encounter.

Upon returning to the lodge, a sumptuous dinner will be served, bringing another extraordinary day in the wild to a close.

Kruger and Back to Johannesburg

This is our last morning as we head out for the last time on our early morning safari, hoping to catch a glimpse of something special. After our safari in search of some of the species we haven’t seen yet, we slowly make our way back to the lodge for breakfast.

After breakfast, we depart the Kruger National Park area and slowly return to civilisation. We aim to be back in Hazyview around 12h15, as your shuttle departs at 12h30. We will arrive in Johannesburg around 17h00.
