Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will go through immigration and collect your luggage. Your Gowitos Safaris driver-guide will be waiting to warmly welcome you at the arrivals area. From there, you’ll be transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. On a clear day, enjoy scenic views of Mount Kilimanjaro along the way. After your journey, you may choose to rest or explore the city with an optional guided tour before settling in for the evening.

Today, your safari continues in one of Africa’s most famous spots: Serengeti National Park. With its expansive plains and incredible wildlife, the Serengeti offers an unmatched adventure. The wildebeest migration, with over a million animals, is a truly remarkable sight. The sight of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles moving across the plains is both thrilling and awe-inspiring.

Your private guide will lead you through the park, in search of these herds. In addition to the migration, the Serengeti is home to predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as elephants and many other species. The park’s beauty and biodiversity will surely leave you in awe.

For a different experience, consider a hot air balloon safari. This optional activity lets you float silently over the plains, providing a stunning bird’s-eye view of the wildlife below, offering a memorable adventure at an additional cost.

Early in the morning, you’ll journey from the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you'll begin your descent into the caldera of this collapsed volcano. The crater’s unique landscape offers an array of vegetation types, creating a diverse ecosystem. The vibrant colors of the environment and the variety of wildlife make it a truly stunning destination.

Ngorongoro Crater boasts the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa, including large populations of elephants, lions, buffalo, hippos, and even the elusive black rhino. It’s an excellent place to see all of the Big Five. The panoramic views from the crater rim, looking down onto the rich, animal-filled floor, are breathtaking. Recognized as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders, this incredible site will captivate you. You’ll spend up to six hours exploring the crater before heading back to Karatu.

After breakfast, your driver will take you to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar, based on your flight schedule. Upon your arrival at Zanzibar Airport, our representative will be there to greet you and transfer you to your beachside hotel.

Spend your last days in Tanzania at your own pace, enjoying the serene surroundings. You can explore the vibrant coral reefs and snorkel among thousands of colorful tropical fish, catch some waves on a surfboard, or simply relax on the beach and soak up the sun.
