Nairobi to amboseli National park

We will pick you up from Jomo Kenyatta Airport or your accommodation hotel in Nairobi and take you on a scenic drive southeast towards Amboseli National Park, with at least one health stop to use the restrooms. You will arrive at the camp in good time for lunch.

In the afternoon after lunch, you will embark on your first game drive to explore the park, which spans 392 square kilometers and is renowned for its panoramic view of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain on earth and the tallest in Africa, standing at 5,895 meters. Amboseli is also known as an elephant's paradise, where massive African savannah elephants roam from swamp to swamp, grazing all day. Other animals to spot here include cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests (gnus), gazelles, hippos, and many more.

Amboseli to Nairobi

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you will set off on an exciting early morning game drive. Although the start is early, morning game drives are incredibly rewarding, providing the best chances to observe animals in their natural habitat. You can choose to return to the lodge for a filling hot lunch or take picnic lunch boxes to enjoy in the stunning surroundings of the park. Afterward, you will journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the mid-afternoon. Your unforgettable safari will conclude with your return to your hotel or the airport.
