Your journey starts in Nairobi, where we pick you up and transfer you to Wilson Airport. You will board a scenic flight over the Great Rift Valley, which takes you to Masai Mara. Your driver guide will welcome and drive you to Elewana Sand River Masai Mara, a luxury camp near the Sand River.
You will enjoy a delicious lunch with views of the river, where elephants and zebras come to drink. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive, where you might spot lions, cheetahs, and giraffes.
As the sun sets, return to the lodge for a gourmet dinner under the stars. End your night with a fireside drink, listening to the distant calls of the wild.

The Great Masai Mara – A Full Day of Adventure
Wake up to the calls of nature and start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading out on a full-day game drive. Our expert driver guide will take you deep into the reserve, tracking the Big Five—lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos. Keep your eyes open for a thrilling hunt or a newborn giraffe taking its first steps.
Midday, enjoy a bush picnic in the heart of the savanna, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. After lunch, visit a Maasai village (optional at an added cost), where you’ll be welcomed with a traditional dance. Learn about their fascinating way of life, from cattle herding to their deep connection with nature or you can choose to continue exploring, spotting hippos in the Mara River and large herds of wildebeest. Return to the lodge in the evening, where a refreshing swim and a sundowner cocktail await. End your day with a three-course dinner and storytelling by the fire.

Start your day with a sunrise game drive, a perfect time to see predators in action before they retreat from the heat. After breakfast, For the ultimate safari memory, you can embark on a hot air balloon ride as you watch the sun rising, floating above the Mara, and watching the endless plains come to life. In the afternoon, embark on another game drive, this time focusing on different landscapes and tracking elusive wildlife. You may see cheetahs sprinting, elephants bathing in the river, or even a rare black rhino. Back at the lodge, enjoy a private dinner on your veranda, surrounded by the sounds of the African night. This is your moment to truly appreciate the magic of Masai Mara.

Farewell to the wild and Departure to Nairobi
Wake up early for a final game drive and afterwards return to the lodge for breakfast before heading to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi.
A driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel or the airport for your onward journey.
