Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, continue your journey through the lush crater uplands, famous for its fertile soils supporting crops like corn, wheat, and coffee. As you enter Serengeti National Park, be amazed by its endless plains stretching as far as the eye can see. Serengeti, which means “endless plains” in Maasai, is renowned for its incredible wildlife and vast grasslands. After lunch, you have the option to visit Olduvai Gorge, where the Leakey family uncovered some of the world’s oldest human fossils. The Serengeti is also famous for its unique rock formations known as Kopjes, perfect for spotting leopards and other big cats. Full game drive in Serengeti National Park
Today is dedicated to exploring the vast Serengeti. Depending on the season, you may witness the awe-inspiring wildebeest and zebra migration, where herds move from the northern hills to the southern plains during the short rains (October and November) or return north during the long rains (April, May, and June). Ngorongoro Concervation Area
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti, where you can spot zebras, lions, wildebeests, leopards, and cheetahs in the Seronera Valley. After lunch, drive towards Ngorongoro highlands one of the most unique ecosystems in the world. You’ll be treated to stunning views of the caldera and its diverse wildlife.
