Maasai Cultural Experience & Olpul Ceremony

Early Morning: Depart from the safari lodge and head to a remote Maasai village.

Mid-Morning: Receive a traditional warrior’s welcome with chants, dance, and jumping contests.

Late Morning: Join a guided nature walk with Maasai elders to learn about medicinal plants and bush survival skills.

Afternoon: Olpul Ceremony – Witness the ethical selection and preparation of a goat (or cow for larger groups), learning about the Maasai zero-waste approach to meat consumption.

Evening: Participate in the Olpul feast, where warriors eat together while drinking a medicinal herbal broth made from wild plants.

Enjoy storytelling, Maasai warrior training (spear throwing & warrior chants), and traditional dance performances around a bonfire.

Overnight Stay: Sleep in a Maasai Manyatta or eco-tent, experiencing the warrior’s way of life.
