Upon departure from Zanzibar Airport, you will take a flight to mainland Tanzania, arriving at either Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK). Upon arrival, a Jambo Masai Tours representative will be there to warmly welcome you. They will escort you to your accommodation at the comfortable Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa, where you can relax and enjoy an overnight stay before your safari adventure begins.

Day 2

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its iconic Tarangire River, the lifeblood of the region during the dry season. This park is home to large elephant families, often seen gathering around the river, and offers opportunities to spot giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, lions, and leopards. With more breeding bird species than anywhere else in the world, Tarangire is a birdwatcher’s paradise. After a day of exploration, you’ll head to the Ngorongoro Highlands for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay at Marera Valley Lodge.

This region, south of the Grumeti River, is teeming with dramatic wildlife action as predators like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas chase the herds, while crocodiles lurk in the river. The breathtaking landscape and intense wildlife drama will leave you with a profound sense of connection to nature. After a thrilling game drive, you’ll enjoy a hearty dinner and a restful night at our partner tented lodges. You will spend two unforgettable nights in the Western Corridor.

After an early breakfast, you’ll continue your scenic journey through Serengeti National Park before heading to the Ngorongoro Crater. When you first glimpse the Crater, you’ll be struck by its breathtaking, secluded beauty—an ancient world with sweeping savannahs, acacia woodlands, and tranquil lakes. Formed millions of years ago by a volcanic explosion, this UNESCO World Heritage site is renowned for its incredible wildlife, including some of Africa’s densest mammal populations. The Crater is a prime spot for spotting the endangered black rhino in its natural habitat. After an enriching game drive, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch and head to your comfortable lodge in Karatu for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll head to Lake Manyara National Park for a captivating game drive. Your adventure begins with the sight of large baboon troops, and the park’s famed elephants, which are protected here. Lake Manyara is also home to the rare tree-climbing lions and offers spectacular birdwatching, with thousands of pink flamingos gracing its shores. Even the most casual birdwatcher will be amazed by the vibrant wildlife. Enjoy a packed lunch at a scenic picnic spot before continuing your game drive. After an unforgettable day, you’ll return to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport.
