Upon departure from Zanzibar Airport, you will take a flight to mainland Tanzania, arriving at either Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK). Upon arrival, a Jambo Masai Tours representative will be there to warmly welcome you. They will escort you to your accommodation at the comfortable Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa, where you can relax and enjoy an overnight stay before your safari adventure begins.

Day 2

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its iconic Tarangire River, the lifeblood of the region during the dry season. This park is home to large elephant families, often seen gathering around the river, and offers opportunities to spot giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, lions, and leopards. With more breeding bird species than anywhere else in the world, Tarangire is a birdwatcher’s paradise. After a day of exploration, you’ll head to the Ngorongoro Highlands for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay at Marera Valley Lodge.

Formed millions of years ago by a volcanic explosion, this UNESCO World Heritage site is renowned for its incredible wildlife, including some of Africa’s densest mammal populations.
